Please note that this update upgrades the internal ColdBox framework to v3.8 and some engines will need to be restarted for changes to take effect. I have upgraded 2 installations and for some reason, the engine needs to be restarted.

Btw I just noticed in builder the following file as an error, but won’t stop ColdFusion from running the code / html.

The following code is the issue, as you can see there is a label that has two classes…

Didn’t think this was urgent enough to raise a bug on.

That could be problematic for people on shared hosting.

I was just looking at my production sites, one of them I had upgraded to the 1.6.0.00016 so that means I would have had the same issue. I don’t recall this, certainly didn’t ask for the hosing company to restart.

So that means I would have changed the application name, so if anyone does run into this a quick name change might be the answer.

Any particular reason why this update isn’t cumulative? It seems like minor releases should be. Is there a check to prevent people from installing it if they don’t have 1.5.7 installed?

I think it was due to the update bugs.

Yea rhere is a check for it and a message to download the patch manually. The reality is that 1.5 series had so many changes and issues with updates that starting fresh is needed
