A Cross-CFML-Engine Persistence Mechanism: What is the latest recommendation ?

As is well-known, several of the (legacy ?) ColdBox Samples require
Transfer and/or Reactor and/or Lightwire; and I am SO VERY MUCH after
a current and comprehensive Authentication/Authorization/Registration/
Login/Logout/Member Management Example ! Together this led me to
download Transfer for the first time (the latest Transfer revision
seems to be from 2008 ...).

But before trying to make the 'securitysample' example work, I would
like to ask the following:
- Generally speaking: What is the latest recommendation - in June 2011
- for a Persistence Mechanism ?
  - One that works fine with ColdBox
  - And one that works across CFML Engines (Railo, OpenBD, Adobe
ColdFusion)
  - Transfer and Reactor seem to be already legacy solutions
  - DataFaucet (by Isaac "Ike" Dealey) never made it into the
mainstream; and it isn't supported anymore, if I'm not in error
  - Hibernate ORM: Available in Adobe ColdFusion, but NOT (yet) in
Railo and/or OpenBD

- Could perhaps the legacy sample 'sampleloginapp' serve best as a
lightweight Security example ? Or are there better suited ColdBox
Security Blueprint Examples available ?

ORM is available in Railo.

and

I would still like to receive some more answers on this important
topic !

In the meantime, I am running the example '/SimpleBlog/simple_blog_5/'
on Railo; it uses Hibernate ORM; I am running it as is, using the
MySQL 5 DB.

I run into the following error message:

   - Message Attribute "lazy" with value "true" must have a value
from the list "false proxy no-proxy ".
   - Cause org.xml.sax.SAXParseException
   - Entities Entry, Comment, User
   - Datasource simpleblog

I have no idea what I should change in the original example in order
to avoid this error !

seems lazy=true is not supported yet on railo, I have not tried it on railo yet.

change it to proxy
