That’s not right. You’re setting your settings directly into the variables, scope but they need to be part of a struct called settings. Check out the docs, or do what I do which is just copy the config file from one of our sample apps.
Yes, there’s not much in it but it’s there. Contents are:
Yes, I missed that. It appears in lite, however, that the structure is called “coldbox”. I changed the coldbox.cfc to the code below and all seems well…in lite. If I switch from lite to full in application.cfc I still get failure.
I’m just trying to see if it’s worthwhile to start out in lite prior to using the full version. The only thing I need to know with 100% certainty is that I’m not throwing away development done in lite if and when I switch to full. Thanks.
I can but it seems we have two issues, one of which might be fixed. Putting the settings keys in the coldbox structure in coldbox.cfc seems to have fixed the one issue. That one I should have seen. Too big a hurry I guess.
The second one is now simply changing between coldbox.system.Coldbox and coldbox.system.mvc.Bootstrap in application.cfc. My understanding is this one change and a reinit will switch between lite and full. When on full, however, I get the error posted below on reinit. I’m using… /helloworld/index.cfm?fwreinit=1
Well, I think the reinit should do it, but the problem is that they are two different bootstraps. I would recommend doing an ApplicationStop() instead. This is only when switching though
