ColdBox [ColdBox 3.5.3] - Layout file, ignored?

Happy Friday everyone.

I have a quick project that I am working on and I have noticed something strange. My start page is a general layout page for this project and everything there is working properly: JavaScript, images etc.

However, when I try to switch to another page that is using the same layout page, none of the images that were just included and shown on the page before (which is using the same layout) don’t show up. CSS looks like it’s being ignored as well.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

The layout has a header and a footer with just a #renderView()# in the middle that is replaced by the view.

TIA

Check the network tab in your browser to see why the assets are not loading. There maybe a tag missing from the broken layout.

Thanks!

Brad,

According to FF everything is loading.

The includes are being called like:

I’m confused, why would it show up for the first page and not show up after that?

I even created a view that just had a basic “This is my view” text in it. The results were the same,

What else should I check?

Update:

Strange: When looking at the FF output it’s attempting to load the CSS file like so:

GET http://mylocal.com/newoak/index.cfm/General/includes/styles/bootstrap.min.css

Coldbox seems to see this as general.includes which of course doesn’t exist.

Odd.

How are you creating your links for those? Do you have a tag?

Thanks!

I don’t have a base tag.

How are you creating the URLs for your css? Can you show some code? Is this site publicly accessible?

Thanks!

I figured out a workaround. Time is a bit of a factor and I might revisit this when I can.

Thanks
