However, you might consider doing it without modifying the
framework files. You already have the ability to mixin methods to your handlers,
so you can create your own includeUDF method and inject it to your handlers.
Another approach is to create a baseHandler cfc that all your handlers can
inherit from. This handler would be an abstract base handler that can be used to
describe the taxonomy of your handlers in your system. It can include utility
methods such as the one you described without touching the framework. Remember
that anything in the framework could potentially change in future versions and
some incompatibilities might arise from you modifying theses files. Therefore, I
recommend you use the mixin ability or the inheritance of an abstract base
handler that could leverage what you need in a way where it can be maintained by
you.

Its a great approach what you have, and I have taken notes, of maybe
providing such a feature in future versions.
