User: tonyg Another thing I should add is that if your site gets a lot of traffic, you
generally won't experience the slow page loads because the .class files in the
CF template cache are essentially kept "in memory".
But if you don't get a lot
of traffic, one workaround that I have used is simply using the cfschedule tag
to set up a scheduled task to periodically (every 15 or 20 min) hit your site.
It's a bit of a kludge, admittedly, but it works and I figure it's as good a
solution as any if you're on CF8 shared hosting until the Java bug is fixed.
