Awesome. Pretty sure we don’t use BE, only stable. We’ll switch back to “Rolling…” once it makes it to the stable. Not sure how I’ll know, but I’ll watch!

Sorry to bump this old post, but I’m having a similar issue as well using the RollingFileAppender.
@lmajano Would it be possible to include this simple fix in the Coldbox version 6 (I know it’s not a security fix) ?

Hi Frank,

Unfortunately our build processes for that version are closed, and this week we release ColdBox 8, so even worse.

I would say the best thing to do is upgrade to ColdBox 7/8

Upgrading to 7 is very trivial: Upgrading to ColdBox 7 | ColdBox HMVC Documentation
and with 8 there are no breaking changes either.
