I have decided to test out ContentBox, because I was really impressed by it on the presentation on CFCamp in Munich this year!
Hi Phillip, welcome to ContentBox. I’m sorry you’re having issues. Can you confirm where you downloaded the source from-- directly from GitHub or from the Download page on gocontentbox.org?
Also, can you confirm that the \modules\contentbox-installer folder exists?

Is railo_demo the webroot or is CB the webroot?

Andrew: Contentbox is in the webroot, no subfolder required in the URL
Brad: Since I did not remember if I got the ContentBox source via gocontentbox.org or git, I just re-downloaded the zip file from gocontentbox.org and replaced all files in my webroot.
Now everything is working perfectly!
So I guess there was a problem with some missing file…
