The Embedded Server section of the CommandBox overview at http://www.ortussolutions.com/products/commandbox states parenthetically “(Railo or Adobe ColdFusion)”, but during the ColdBox 4 meetup yesterday, Brad stated that the embedded server is Railo, and followed that up with a whisper that an embedded ColdFusion server is being worked on with Adobe. Are there any more details on that? What’s the plan, and timeline for that?
No, not really any other details at this point. The plan is that we’ll get it figured out sometime soon. The timeline is undecided 
Feel free to take a look at the custom Java loader that runs the Railo war and see what needs to change for it to run a CF war. Honestly, we just haven’t had the priority to dig into it yet.
