Hi all,
I have been working on ColdBox for about 5 years now, and I know that there is very little out there for open source projects for ColdBox. What I would like to do is to begin to change this, I already have a few things on the go that I have been hoping to get released. However due to the lack of time I haven’t got anywhere close to where I wanted to be.
So I am now looking for others who might wish to contribute to a few of these projects, or even more as I do have a heap of applications and plugin modules that I would like to release over time.
So what am I looking for.
- Looking for people who are wanting to help bring more applications to ColdBox as open source.
- People who are also very familiar/willing to learn either jQuery, but more importantly ExtJS.
- People who are very familiar with ColdFusion 8, but more importantly ColdFusion 9 as these apps will be released initially with ColdFusion 9 and ORM in mind. And if the need arises we will then look at others, especially Railo.
- Desire to learn or already understand design patterns.
- Jira and subversion will be used at this stage.
If anyone is interested please contact me off list, I am looking at getting some of these projects started very soon. I have 2 that are partially started, and a core application that these modules can fit into as a testbed.
So if you think you can offer a good deal of time to help, I would love to hear from you. More details to come shortly.
