Hi Adam,
I am still thinking of how to do that, but I definitely want to make
it extensible, either by connecting to external tools or building on top of it.
The only problem with building on top of it, is that user's might override
certain things on it or corrupt it. Also, the auto-update features, would wipe
user code if there.
That is why I am trying to come up with an external tool
registration system. Where I can register a tool, built on coldbox of course or
other framework 
, and be able to launch it from the dashboard. This way, the
dashboard can be sort of your development gateway to all your tools, plus the
ones that the dashboard gives you.
Most likely, the releases of the dashboard
will be cfcompiled.
