What version of CF are you on.
Have you tried running the samples?
http://localhost/coldbox/samples/index.cfm
Those samples are configured to run
without any installation. Try that?
If something is wrong, it might be
permissions related, because, the only thing that occurs is the include of the
full path /coldbox/system/coldbox.cfm
So you will need to verify that this path
works from the root.
