I tried creating a cflayout using coldbox and found that for some reason any
page load after the initial load would no longer include the javascript files.
View source revealed no script tags. If I comment out the renderView() and load
the layout directly it loads fine.
The only way to get CF to start
including the script files in the output was to restart the service and then it
only worked the first time again. That makes me think it has something to do
with caching, but I'm just getting started with CB so who knows
