Hi, my site is running on cb 1.5.5 and I would like to update it to 2.0.
Whats the best way to do it? Can I reinstall 2.0 over the existing database? I don’t mind to tweek the db manually

I migrated from 1.6.0 to 2.0 using the update section of the admin panel without any issue. Not sure if you can do the same, however make a backup and try.
Everything should be ok.
Update to 1.6 first. Then to 2

It looks like you will want to manually upgrade to 1.6 first, THEN go to 2.0

unfortunately…manually updating from 1.5.5 to 1.6 doesn’t work on shared hosting with sandbox.

Is there way to upload the patch with ftp and run it?
