So I guess when you use the CFProvider you can’t setup defaults for time in the cache?

Correct. If you want to configure how EHCache works on the inside, you’ll need to edit the actual EHCache config:

Actually no. We updated this thanks to Brett Suwyn and you can declare the ehcache properties and it will configure the cache region for you
