Tips for moving from CB 3 to CB 4?

–rewritesenable is a parameter to the CommandBox command and has no bearing on IIS.

In IIS, you must configure rewrites separately. Please see our docs here:

http://coldbox.ortusbooks.com/content/Routing/rewrite_rules.html

You seemed to mention a dislike of rewrites earlier. They are optional, but they are also the only way you can remove the “index.cfm” from your URLS.

Thanks!

That’s what I figured.

But thanks for the link… I turned that into web.config and it actually worked. I rarely have luck with IIS and it’s f’ing web.config files. I remember when IIS was actually easy to use. Then somebody must have decided it was TOO easy.

Now I can start doing some real development. Thanks again for all the help!!
