Greetings,
We tired to upgrade our M6 version of coldbox to RC1 and got this error:
Oops! Exception Encountered### Application Execution ExceptionError Type: Database : n/a
Error Messages: Datasource ${datasources.sicd.name } could not be found.
When we switch back to M6 the problem goes away.
Any ideas?

Can you provide a stack track or the complete error.

Also, the data source parts of your config could be helpful too. It looks like perhaps you are using ${foo} placeholders in your config that aren’t being resolved.
