I wanted to reach out to Luis and Brad and personally thank them for the help they provided in fixing our nightmare. In less than a day we found the culprit causing our application to crash every 2 hours. As it turns out it was a scheduled task, legacy code, outside of application that was filling up the java heap space. We tooled the over all server, adjusting various settings in cf admin, and increased the size of the heap space from 192 to 512. After 3 successful days and one busy Monday morning, we have had 0 downtime. I can now being to regrow the lost hair I experienced from this issue over the last few weeks.
