ColdBox Connection today on TestBox

http://blog.coldbox.org/blog/coldbox-connection-intro-to-testbox-and-bdd

Today we’ll be bringing back the ColdBox Connection to introduce TestBox, CFML’s new unit testing platform. The show will be at Noon Central time. TestBox is MXUnit-compatible so it’s easy to get your current testing suite set up. TestBox is also more flexible and supports the Behavior Driven Development (BDD) style of testing. Come join us, and if you can’t make it we will be recording the show.

Tuesday January 28th Noon Central

Brad,

Is there any chance you could post a link in there to the current Central Time, just and idea.

It’s 12:00 pm Central Standard Time which is in 20 minutes. Does that answer the question?

Thanks!

Not a question, but more if in the future a link for those who don’t know the timezone would help, could be added to your posts.

Matt,

I was thinking more along the lines of

http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/usa/central-time/

Which shows the actual current time, there was one that actually used to show up in the Google search at the top of the search but I can’t recall what the search term was.

Ah gotcha’. We’ve been doing the ColdBox Connection at Noon CST/CDT for years now so I guess I figured people would know what “central” meant in this context  I updated the post.

Thanks!

I know what AEST and AEDT are, does that help?

A cool contentbox widget would be to embed a little table that showed the time in multiple local time zones and let you also choose a time zone. We actually did that for ColdBox Developers Week last year-- I used the Geo Location plugin to detect people’s time zone and then showed the local time for them.

Thanks!
