I did my research on hosting companies a few
months ago because of the same issue, and found SEVERAL companies that permit
the usage of java and createobject on their coldfusion 8 plans. I can't
recollect at the moment, but they where also all under $24 bucks a month. I
think host my site is $19.95/month for the cf basic plan. Its a matter of
researching it again since coldfusion 8 has better security, hosting companies
have no excuse on letting people use java objects.
