1: JSON: its much better to follow a standard and also this will help the
developers in understanding for ajax stuff. As JSON is more common in many
implementation, even faster response for browser remote calls.
2: xml parser
plugin: yes its very specific to coldbox and will not change
3: additional
plugin: to handle more settings, I think the current coldbox.xml.cfm provide
enough flexibility to adjust simple/complex values.
Would you please provide
us your specific requirements where the existing features does not fit.
