ContentBox installation error in ACF 9,0,2,

Any Idea. why this error occures…

In Application.cfc - dbcreate = “update”,

but still the installation fails.

Does your datasource user have enough permissions on the database?

Yes. I’m doing installation in my local machine for a demo. Using MySQL DB (with default root/root)

So what are your steps you took?

This error occurred when clicking “Create Datasource”. during installation.
I’m getting "Error verifying datasource: "

This error occurred when clicking “Create Datasource”. during installation.

I’m getting "Oops! Something went wrong!

Datasource could not be verified, please check your settings."

Im able to create Datasource manually from CF Admin.
When I continue installation in this way. I’m getting the above mentioned error

Table cb_setting defined for cfc contentbox.model.system.Setting does not exist.

was the datasource created?

No Installer did not create datasource.

I ran into this initially as well, on both 9.0.1 and 9.0.2. The only way I found around it was to use CF10 to do the installation and then move all the code over to a CF9 install.

Weird, will have to verify, was this on the latest build? or bleeding edge?

Latest one downloaded from http://www.gocontentbox.org/.
I will try installing in CF10.

Right, the latest build from the download page.

Oh, and if it matters, it was on both Windows 7 and Windows 8 that I saw this.

We had same issue and then went back to 1.6.

Ok, I was able to reproduce it and this was reported a while back. The problem is with a stupid semi-colon that cf9 chokes on. Anyways, the bleeding edge version 2.1.0 has this fix already for cf9 alongside some other stupid cf9 syntax bugs.

Tried installation in CF11. got same issue "Oops! Something went wrong!
Datasource could not be verified, please check your settings. "

Try with the Bleeding edge. I will be releasing this update soon

Thanks Luis,
I restarted ACF11 and tried installation. Installation succeeded after a couple of CFLOOP timeout issues.

Make sure report execution times is disabled in your server.
