Hello,

Even working with the cms started badly: I simply clicked on the page “about” to edit, which fired an exception:

Glad to hear. I just tried and was making a video for you. Will do the video anyways.

As for that exception I am guessing you are using 1.1? This was fixed already.

I would suggest you download our development branch as it includes lots of Railo fixes.

I installed now the version form the development branch. It dind’t help, it still fires an new execption.
This exception will also be fired getting by ticking -> system.

I restartet Tomcat before, to be sure that all cached things are gone

Error Messages: Setting cb_editors_markup not found in settings collection

Martin. I tested the development branch with two railo versions and different computers. I think at this point there are a few things you must do

Delete the current database and recreate it
Stop railo
Start railo
Go to the railo admin and register the datasource
Hit the site

This sequence should clear up any funkyness.

I did everything. now i get this:

“ERROR”,“web-0”,“03/12/2013”,“16:56:27”,"","Another unnamed CacheManager already exists in the same VM. Please provide unique names for each CacheManager in the config or do one of following:

Use one of the CacheManager.create() static factory methods to reuse same CacheManager with same name or create one if necessary
Shutdown the earlier cacheManager before creating new one with same name.
The source of the existing CacheManager is: DefaultConfigurationSource [ ehcache.xml or ehcache-failsafe.xml ]

I restartet tomcat to cleanup everything.
After this i got the message from the browser, that the site is looping on “/index.cfm/cbInstaller”

Try setting secondCACHE (I think) to false - I had the same problem and that fixed the issue.
