I tried it in a few browsers but I’m still unable to check categories on pages and entries. It’s weird and for the life of me I can’t figure out why.
Can someone else check the latest feature build and see if it’s just me.
Thanks,
Richard

if you go to edit a page/entry and open the categories panel, try to select one of the categories by clicking on the checkbox, it doesn’t check. it just stays empty without the tick.
HMM,
I tried in Mac → Safari, Chrome and Firefox and it works. Will Try PC later

Yeah I know, weird. Chrome, Firefox and IE9/10 on both windows 7 and 8 - nothing.
It’s like something is disabling them but not the standard disable where they grey out.
Richard check that you’re not getting a JS error as, as it works for me.
No JavaScript errors in any of the browsers. Just to add a twist to the mystery. I’ve just tried it on my work PC (exactly the same setup as my desktop at home) and it works fine.
So how come it doesn’t work on my home desktop and laptop. Something tells me this is going to drive me nuts
Just for anyone who may come across this issue. I have now found the cause of this problem.
There was definitely something funky going on and it turned out to be the Java browser plugin. Upgrading to SE 7 U21 fixed it in all browsers.
