Anybody out there using Ionic's Isapi Rewrite Filter (IIRF) 1.2.15
If so, what would be the equivalent of the mod_rewrite rules for
ColdBox in IIRF??
I have used that tool in the past. The syntax is supposed to be the
same as the mod_rewrite rules. You might have to play with it a bit on
a basic setup to get things going.
If you have a sample of what you are trying to do from a mod_rewrite
file, I might be able to help.

I can’t actually make it work on IIS 6.0 for some reason. Did you have any problems with it?

You can get it to work on other IIS versions or is IIS 6.0 the only
place you have tried it? I see from their site that IIS 6 is a valid
install version. Have you downloaded any of their sample .ini files to
test them first? I do recall that when I was first learning how to use
Ionic that I had to extract the syntax from the provided samples and
then customize it to work for what I wanted. I also went through lots
of trial and error to make sure I knew when I broke the file.
In the end, I think we eventually dropped Ionic and used Helicon
(ISAPI_Rewrite 3 - Apache .htaccess mod_rewrite compatible module for IIS) because there were
somethings that Ionic wouldn't do. You might want to check that option
out since it is also have a free/lite version. I don't know if it will
meet all your needs, but I do know the syntax was more compatible w/
mod_rewrite than Ionic.
