Hi Ronan,
In my opinion, I don't see a big deal about it. The request context
object is basically part of the domain model of coldbox. It is very
interchangeable and if one day, GOD FORBID, you do not use ColdBox. You would
just need to model a similar request context. So I would say, go ahead. Pass the
event object to the model layer.
