Title: RE: curious: why an xml config file?
Thread: curious: why an xml config file?
Forum: Need Help?
I like this conversations, we can be semantic and philosophical!!
also a personal touch is giving to the use of xml over programmatic approaches.
Just look at lightwire. No XML needed, you code the config.
I think, that in
my Personal case, I found it cleaner to represent my config in XML than in a
cfc. I found that I could see at first hand and understand the data I was
reading. If I had done the config.xml in a cfc, it would have been nested arrays
withing structures, and structures with keys and arrays, well, you get the
point. That was my main concern with ColdBox.
Oscar?? Any more comments?
