That was exactly how I was attempting this... sort of 
I was
using parens instead of curly braces in the constructor-arg tag. My font in
cfeclipse makes it hard to distinguish between the two... Could just be my age
showing through.
Once I saw that, bingo it works. Now to just get all my other
objects defined in Coldspring and I'm on my way.
I really appreciate all the
work you've put into Coldbox. The docs are terrific, the sample apps are great
and it really seems to work well. it is a fairly easy transition from Fusebox to
Coldbox so far... and I still have much to learn.
