Need Help with Optimizing ContentBox Performance

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on a project using ContentBox, and while I’m loving the flexibility and features, I’m running into some performance issues as the site grows. The load times are starting to creep up, and I’m trying to figure out the best way to optimize it before things get out of hand.

I have gone through these resources/articles ContentBox Modular CMS Mulesoft Interview Questions and they are quite good but I wanted to learn more from community.

Has anyone here dealt with similar issues? I’m particularly interested in any tips or best practices for caching strategies, database optimization, or even server configurations that have worked well for you. I’ve been exploring some of the built-in features, but I’d love to hear what’s worked for others in the community.

Also, if there are any plugins or modules you’d recommend to help with performance, I’m all ears!

Hi @gabrielparker Thanks for your post. Performance is a tricky horse. So here are some questions for you to see how to best help you.

  • What version of ContentBox are you using?
  • What CFML Engine are you using?
  • What database are you using?
  • What pages or areas are the ones suffering in performance?
  • Have you taken measurements or they “just feel” slow?
  • Have you used a tool like FusionReactor or ElasticAPM to monitor the application?
