WOW, I just tried it, man!! I gotta tell you a tear was almost shed as I installed it and boom it worked. It is incredible the feeling of how ContentBox is maturing and I am giving birth to another baby!!
Awesome! Glad you like it. Twitter really put some serious work into Bootstrap. Did you see how the nav and content reformats for mobile when you resize the browser window?
I have some ideas around building widgets that integrate with some of the various Bootstrap features. The problem though would be how do you package up those widgets to go along with the theme? What do you think about a feature where in your theme folder you also have a widgets folder where you can drop your widget CFC’s in. That way when the theme is imported the widgets could also be loaded into the system?
The only risk I see with something like this though is if someone had installed a theme, made customizations to the theme widgets, then the next upgrade of the theme would overwrite those customizations. Regardless, I think this would be a great way of handling packaging widgets with a theme.
I just added this layout to GRAPE Stack, it is now included with the default install of ContentBox. A couple of issues, the pageNoSidebar.cfm seems a little funky, you have style.css and default.js in there, I think those should be boostrap.js and boostrap.css. I forked your repo and fixed them.
Otherwise, AWESOME! Let me know when you push updates!
Awesome! Thanks for adding it into Grapestack, as well as fixing those issue. Yeah, there were a few CSS/JS issues I still have to get to so thanks for forking.
Feel free to push the updates any time. This is my first public repo. Do I just need to merge those changes in?
I will have to check it out…speaking of though I have a base code template that I use for all ColdBox projects. It is all script and uses boostrap for the layouts / views and comes with an admin module. It also has some loggers predefined, a custom request context decorator and error handling. I was thinking of releasing this so you could just drop it in your application templates folder, thoughts? Anyone want it?
