OpenAI-powered ChatGPT has arrived for Ortus Documentation

We are pleased to announce a fun little project that our Patreon supports have been testing in private for a week or so. Ortus has rolled out our own OpenAI-powered chat bot, which is fueled by all of the documentation in our GitBooks! This behaves similar to the ChatGPT you’ve likely played with, but is custom loaded with all of our most recent documentation.

We have a lot of stuff we’d like to add to help train it, but for now you can start using it to help look up answers. Our AI-powered chat can be found here:

https://chatgpt.ortussolutions.com/

Press the red “Start Chatting” button to begin. You can ask our Ortus-trained AI any question related to the documentation sites we’ve loaded in. It’s not perfect but it answers a lot of the FAQs pretty well.

If you want to learn more about using OpenAI in your software, plan to attend Into The Box 2023 this May in Houston where we’re have a session showing how we built our new chatbot.

Here are some example questions you can ask:

Pretty cool! One suggestion would be to have it format actual code (if possible?) so that it’s not just smushed into the middle of a response.

Great idea. We’ll have to look at how the code comes back from the OpenAI calls to see how we can do that :+1:
