Railo BE 4.1.1.003 - ColdBox BE 4.7

I’m using Railo BE 4.1.1.003 on ColdBox BE 4.7 and when I call the messageBox plugin and check to see if the isEmptyMessage is true or false, I get the following error message.

Oops! exception Encountered### Application Execution ExceptionError Type: expression : 0

Error Messages: No matching Method/Function for String.exists(string) found

The variable “flash” appears to be an empty string…

Any ideas why? It worked perfectly in 3.6 on Railo BE 4.1.1.003
