How does it work with non-blog content? Do subscribers get E-mailed any time you create or update a page of any kind in your site?

That is what I am asking, there are Wordpress templates out there where the blog is not just the only content.
For example I provided a link to one template, where the site had two blogs one for property owners and one for rental and buyers. Others can provide a blog as well as a news area.
I don’t think that one would subscribe to every page / content change, but I also think that it should maybe not be core. And then leave it up to the current theme to provide the type of subscription.
Or maybe an Admin section where one could then setup the type of notifications, that could be selected. But I think there could be room for more of a discussion.
