Hi Paul, there is no reason not to use CommandBox in production. It is a very capable and fast server built on top of JBoss Wildfly’s Undertow. That’s why we made it the core of our Docker images, which I’ve used to processes 1 Million request per minute on a Docker swarm.
Just remember, that all the standard lockdown steps apply in regards to restricting the web administrator, etc. If you’re looking at deploying on Docker, we even have some nice production switches built into our image that automatically locks that stuff down for you. Otherwise, just customize your rewrite rules accordingly.
