Vimeo ContentBox Connection Videos - out of sync?

I have been trying to watch everything I can to do with Coldbox and Contentbox but the vimeo videos for Content Box are seriously out of sync… and its kinda tough to line up what I heard 2 mins ago with what i’m seeing now.

Is it just me?

I’ve noticed it before on videos where we made a recording of an Adobe Connect session, but I didn’t think it was every video. Can you post some links to the videos giving you the issues. We may need to try and re-record them.

Sorry Brad, but I brought that fact up and stated that it was every video. You did ask me which one I was interested in, but I did state it was every video.

I have watched or had co-workers watch most the videos on Vimeo and we haven’t had any sync issues.

Contentbox connection 1 & 2 were bad today. Tried a couple of browsers... On Vimeo site and embedded in go contentbox.org.
Even paused rewind etc but its def a sync issue

I’ve watched pretty much all the videos on vimeo and not had any audio sync issues. Could this be related to a specific browser? I was using Chrome.

I watched recently some videos too. I coudn’t see any out of sync problems.

If I go to http://www.gocontentbox.org/resources/videos
Click on the first video, which is ContentBox Connection 3.
At 4 mins… Luis is talking about expanding the installer, and video is still showing how and where to download the express editions and then points at the utilities… so its like 20 seconds lag after only 4 mins.

I used several browsers.
If its fine for everyone else, thats fine.
Maybe its just the flash plugin for mac giving me issues.

Thats why i asked.

Thanks for trying to help figure this out Gavin. Honestly, I don’t know if the issue is part of the actual video file or in the streaming. We may need to re-record the Connect sessions and re-upload to Vimeo, but honestly I don’t know what program Luis usually uses to record those and I don’t have access to the Vimeo account. I’ll look into what I can do.

In the mean time, we have the original Connect sessions for any of the ColdBox or ContentBox connection videos. Here is the URL directly to the Connect recording of the video you mentioned:

We had been recording them for a while and putting them on Vimeo because we thought it would be easier for people to find and watch them. If you supply me with any other Vimeo links you are having issues with I can look and give you the original Adobe Connect URL if we have it still.
